50% Cabernet Sauvignon, 28% Malbec, 9% Syrah, 8% Petit Verdot, 5% Corot Noir. Sustainably Farmed, Low Intervention.
VINIFICATION: Each of the separate lots was fermented separately in Stainless Steel tanks, then brought together and blended in a combination of second-year and third-year French Oak barrels for maturing.
TASTING NOTES: This silky, velvety red exhibits a savory nose with hints ofOolive, and continues to a core of juicy Cherry fruit and Spice on the palate. Round & soft with bright acidity and fine, feathery tannins. Blackberry and Cherry go toe-to-toe on the palate with a dark, savory element full of Granite, Dusty Herbs and Earth in this elegantly restrained red wine.
FOOD PAIRING: Pair this wine with Stews, Roasts, Lamb, Duck, and Game. Seared Tuna, Swordfish, or even a heart Salade Niçoise all go nicely as well, as do medium-hard & Bleu-veined Cheeses.
Truly a New York “cult” wine, Brooklyn Oenology’s Motley Cru is inspired by the face of Brooklyn – complex, with fantastic variety!
