VINIFICATION: 90% Chardonnay from the harvest of 2018, 8% harvest of 2016 & 2% from the harvest of 2014. Bottled in March, 2019. Minimum of 3 years aging in cellar. Disgorged beginning of 2022 as BRUT designation (sugar dosage 9.6 g/l).
ABOUT: This particular cuvée is made by blending various parcels of Chardonnay grown in Le Mesnil-sur-Oger. The wines used are specially selected for their finesse and ethereal qualities which give the wines their complex and mouthwatering flavors. Fine bubbles and sustained effervescence, this seductive Champagne is a reflection of the expertise of Le Mesnil House.
Beautiful balance between fruits and pastries supported by the minerality of the wine defining this vintage of gourmet.
TASTING NOTES: Light bodied, dry sparkling wine. White Gold color in the glass. Aromas of Green Apple, Ripe Pear, Warm Biscuit, Pastry, blanched Almond, White Flowers & Wet Gravel. Mix of fine & coarse bubbles in the bead, w/ notes of Green Apple, Lime, Toasted Chopped Nuts, mouth puckering acidity & Minerality on the palate. Long finish.
FOOD PAIRING: This wine will serve well as an Aperitif, and will pair w/ Fish, Shellfish, Poultry, White Meats, Cured Meats, Mild/Soft Cheese & Desserts.
