100% Chardonnay from Macon-Villages, Burgundy, France.
ABOUT: Soil is composed of Clay and Limestone on hills with Southern and Western exposure, located in Hurigny (Mâconnais, South Burgundy).
VINIFICATION: Traditional vinification in concrete vats, with fermentation taking place under controlled temperature, at 18-20°C 8. The wine is then aged for 10 months before being bottled.
TASTING NOTES: Pale, bright Yellow-Gold color. Aromas are driven by Floral and Citrus notes, along with Honeyed-Sweets on the nose. On the palate this wine is clean cut & well structured, with Apples, Pear & Citrus fruit notes with a nice Minerality following onto the palate. Well-balanced, round and ample wine w/ a medium-length finish.
FOOD PAIRING: Pair this wine with assorted Cold Cuts/Charcuterie, Roasted Poultry, Fish, Shellfish and Seafood dishes, Pastas, or with Crottin Goat Cheese or Salads.
