Raspberry red. Aromas of small Red fruits, especially freshly handpicked Strawberries, & Violets. On the palate the wine has a tender texture, nice acidity, and a round, persistent finish.
100% Pinot Noir from Cote d'Or & Santenay, Burgundy, France.
VINIFICATION: Pinot Noir from several plots in Santenay, Côte d’Or. Planted on clay and chalk soil, average vines age 30 years old. Hand-picked and de-stemmed after sorting. 3 days cold maceration (12˚C), fermentation in open vat for 7 days with twice a day pump-over and punch-down. After racking, cold settling for 4 days. Aged for 12 months in oak barrels, 15% new. Malolactic fermentation in barrels, light filtration before bottling.
