94% Merlot, 5% Malbec, 1% Petit Verdot.
Founded in 1992 and located on the North Fork of Long Island.
Aged for 10 months in Hungarian oak barrels, this Merlot shows a deep garnet color and an enticing nose of mulberry, pine, and cocoa powder. The palate is rich with plum, black cherry and cedar that comes through a smooth, supple mouth-feel, finished with soft, round tannins. While delicious to drink now, it should age well for many years.
This wine will pair well with a wide variety of foods, including beef, pork, poultry, stews, and anything off the grill.
