ABOUT: This indigenous variety represents the Friulian territory more than any other variety.

 

VINIFICATION:The grapes are de-stemmed and left to macerate on skins for a short time. After pressing, the must is decanted and fermented at controlled temperature with selected yeasts. The wine then spends 6 months in Stainless Steel tanks on its fine lees, after which it spends at least 2 months in the bottle.

 

TASTING NOTES: This Medium bodied wine is Straw Yellow in color with light Golden reflections, the harmonious bouquet is driven by Apple Blossom, White Peach, Apple & Citrus notes, with an Herbal edge. In the mouth it is fresh, soft and deep with notes of White Peach & Apple again, with a touch of Citrus and a lovely textural note of Beeswax. The medium length finish is driven by the typical hint of sweet Almond & minerals.
