Always our flagship wine. A classic chardonnay from vineyards on the west side of Seneca Lake. Planted on steep slopes with alluvial soils full of gravel, these vineyard sites yield grapes with depth and concentration that melds beautifully with oak. Fermented naturally with vineyard yeasts in large format French oak barrels for perfect oak integration.
A fully developed wine with light golden hue. Aromas are complex with ripe orchard fruits and
crème brulee notes. There is a clean and bright acid attack indicative of cool climate wine making,
but the palate is also delightfully rounded and rich. Finish is long and structured.
'Mango, apricot, lemon curd,
praline and buttered toast on the
nose with subtle celery-salt notes.
It’s medium-to full-bodied with a
buttery, rounded palate, balanced
by bright acidity. Hazelnut and
vanilla to close.
