80% Merlot and 20% Cabernet Franc
fruity on the nose, strawberry, red currants. 18 month French oak characters coming through.
Destemmed and then fermented spontaneously and separately in open-top puncheons. Macerated about 6 weeks on the skins. The wines were aged in old barrels and blended immediately before bottling, and bottled at 18 months.
