100% Nebbiolo from Barolo, Piedmont, Italy.
VINIFICATION: Hand-harvested, de-stemmed, & softly pressed and macerated on its skins for 10 days under controlled temperature. After malolactic fermentation is completed the wine is refined in Slovenian oak barrels for 30 months and 6-8 months in bottle.
TASTING NOTES: Full bodied, dry Red Wine. Garnet Red color w/ Orange Rim. Classically styled, this Barolo opens with an intense Bouquet of Dark Cherry, Liquored Raspberry & Blueberry, Underbrush & Savory Spice. The palate is well-structured, w/ firm, Austere Tannins & notes of Cherry, Prune, Candied Red & Blue Fruits, & hints of Cinnamon & toasted Hazelnuts. Long finish.
