Italian-inspired and Brooklyn-made, St. Agrestis is a modern amaro marked by intense aromatics and warming spices. Made by two Italian-Americans, St. Agrestis has an inventive process and flavor profile, making it inherently American while paying homage to its Italian roots. Twenty herbs, spices, citrus, roots, and seeds are macerated separately to ensure each tincture achieves the perfect fragrance and flavor profile. After maceration, each botanical is combined and aged in ex-bourbon barrels. The result is a bittersweet sarsaparilla and baking spice forward digestivo that leads to a mint-driven cooling sensation and a gentian bitter finish.
