Triay Mencía is a red wine with great personality that is made  from manually selected grapes from low yield balanced vines. Most of them are over 30 years old, coming from two plots located in the southern slope of Mount Ladairo, in the village of O Rosal (Oímbra, Ourense). 8,000 bottles produced.

VINIFICATION: This wine was macerated at 22ºC, and alcoholic fermentation began in stainless steel tanks. Light micro-oxygenation and aging on its lees for 6 months in stainless steel vats.

VINEYARDS: located on soils rich in slate and clay and worked manually with traditional farming practices. - Climate : Atlantic with continental influence. - Suitable for  vegans  and  celiacs .

TASTING NOTES: Intense garnet red color with violet iridescence. On the nose, this wine has aromas of delicious forest berries (Raspberry, Currant, Cherry). Very clean, fruity and elegant. On the palate it is enveloping, dense, with sweet tannins and a persistent presence in the mouth. On the finish, its fruitiness comes out again. Intense and persistent.

FOOD PAIRING: We recommend serving Triay Mencía at a temperature between 12 and 14ºC. It can be accompany all kinds of Meats, Cured Cheeses, Sausages (Iberico Meats and CuredMmeats are recommended), and traditional Galician cuisine dishes.
