VINIFICATION: Hand harvested, de-stemmed, and spontaneously fermented. Gentle extraction during the 17-day maceration. Aged in 60% stainless steel and 40% neutral barrel for 8 months with sulfur added after malolactic and before bottling. Unfined and unfiltered. A blend of fruit from Rasta Ranch Vineyard and our home vineyard, the 2021 Cabernet Franc is a savory, tensile example of the variety thanks to the cool, wet growing season.
TASTING NOTES: Light bodied Red Wine. Aromas and Flavors of Crushed Raspberries, Ripe Plum, Turned Earth, Coffee, Tobacco & Cedar in a Sinewy frame. The palate is bright, fresh, and mouth-filling with light Tannins. Long finish.
